Arlas Capital

Arlas Capital manages a concentrated investment portfolio in companies with the aim of generating returns superior to the market. Arlas Capital’s companies are incorporated in The Netherlands and Switzerland under different regulatory regimes.

Arlas Capital serves a small group of private clients that understand our value investing philosophy and are willing to commit their capital in the long term. Arlas invests selecting a few outstanding companies that can be acquired under their intrinsic value. We believe that investing consistently in companies that are good business and represent good investment opportunities achieves sustainable returns with a relatively acceptable level of risk.

Arlas Capital: Alternative Investment Fund (AIF)

In the summer of 2018, we launched Arlas Capital Fund. The fund is structured as a Dutch open-ended fund for joint accounts (“besloten fonds voor gemene rekening” in Dutch). This structure provides a safe, low cost and lean structure for the investors in Arlas Capital Fund. Bolder Group, one of world’s leading asset servicing providers, is the independent administrator of the fund. The fund operates under the exemption regulation (“vrijstellingsregeling” in Dutch) of the Financial Supervision Act of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (“Autoriteit Financiële Markten” or “AFM” in Dutch). This exemption is also known as the De Minimis (or simplified) AIFMD regime.

De Minimis (or simplified) regime funds like Arlas Capital Fund operate without a license, prospectus and supervision by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and are only open for qualified investors. If you are a qualified investor (minimum capital commitment of EUR 100,000) and are interested in knowing more about Arlas Capital Fund, you could request information on this link.
