Portfolio Manager

Txomin Zaratiegui Osés is the founder and portfolio manager of Arlas Capital. He has a passion for investing and continuous learning. He was previously an Investment Director at Gala Capital, a leading Private Equity fund management firm headquartered in Madrid focused on growth capital equity investments. He worked on dozens of acquisitions and deals sourced across different industries. He was a Senior Analyst and Investment Associate at the firm. He also worked as an Investment Advisor for the Economic Office of Spain to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, where he advised Spanish companies to expand internationally. Txomin Zaratiegui Osés started his career working as a management consultant and as a Corporate Banker at Barclays Bank. He holds a degree in Economics from the Pompeu Fabra Univeristity in Barcelona, Spain and an MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School, where he graduated with honors.

Fund Administrator

Bolder Group is our fund administrator. Bolder has been in the business for more than 20 years, providing their services across a wide range of asset classes, including both traditional and alternative investments. Bolder has over 100 employees and offices in The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, The Cayman Islands, Hong Kong and other jurisdictions. They provide their services to approximately 350 funds with a combined AUM of roughly 10 billion USD.In addition to providing fund administration services to established fund managers, they have increasingly become a one-stop-shop for new fund launches, advising and assisting investment managers in the crucial pre- and post-launch phases.

Self Regulatory Organisation

VQF (Verein zur Qualitätssicherung von Finanzdienstleistungen) or the Financial Services Standards Association is the largest cross industry self-regulatory organization (SRO) approved by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, FINMA. It monitors adherence to anti-money-laundering legislation and rules of professional and ethical conduct. Members of VQF include financial intermediaries such as independent asset managers, trustees, trust companies and providers of collective investment schemes.
